Most recently listened to: "The Beautiful Game"
Going to do after this: Go home before too much longer!

I just got my copy of The Beautiful Game, and I have to say ... I really don't know what to say about it! For the most part, it doesn't sound like Andrew Lloyd Webber at all! I haven't had a good chance to sit down and listen to it through with the libretto, but what I've heard sounds really interesting. I can't wait to see it!

I have decided that I really have to stop buying CDs! After buying the afore-mentioned Beautiful Game, Whistle Down the Wind and Sarah Brightman's "Fly" all in the same day, I decided I have a problem. :-) Besides, I have to start saving up money for Europe - which is not made any easier by the fact that I've purchased tickets to three different things in the past few weeks.

However, I'm excited about all three of those things. :-) The first is Mamma Mia! next Thursday with Alison. I was sitting in the cheap seats the first time I went, but this time we'll be in a box, so it should be fun! Plus, a weekend with Alison is never too boring. ;-) Then the second thing is the last show of the Scarlet Pimpernel tour in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the end of March. I haven't seen the show in a year (a year on Sunday, to be exact!), plus I've never seen Ron Bohmer, so I'm really looking forward to it.

And the last thing, which makes me a little too giddy even thinking about it, is the 'NSYNC concert on June 19. Now, this would be exciting enough in itself, but somehow Karen and Gill managed to get us seats in the SIXTH ROW, so it's gonna be an absolute blast. 4 months is entirely too long to wait!!

And while I'm in my boy-band moment, I'll just say that the Backstreet Boys concert was really fun, though I would have enjoyed it a bit more if I could have heard anything! I don't know if it was where we were sitting or just because there were so many people there, but I found the crowd much louder than at 'NSYNC.

Moving on - have I ever mentioned how much I love Tom Cruise? I bought M:I-2 on the weekend, and then after I'd finished watching it, TBS was showing Top Gun and A Few Good Men, so I enjoyed myself quite a bit. :-) I also have to say that I was sincerely upset to hear that he and Nicole were splitting up. I always thought they were such a great couple.

Oh yeah, and I'm in a new house now! :-) We bumped the moving date up a little bit, so it's all taken care of with not too much undue stress. It's a great place, my roommate is really nice, my cat's happy, and so far everything's great! Oh, and I have cable!! Very important. :-) I have been spending *hours* in front of the TV, which I haven't done in ages, but I figure I've earned it!

Speaking of my roommate, it was her birthday yesterday, so I made a cake and we had dinner and wine and stuff. It was fun!

Anyway, I ought to stop babbling and get back to work! Until next time!
