Picture of the day:

Another few days have flown by...I swear, this term is going to be over before I know it. Which is a good thing, of course, but I'm just not looking forward to all the work between now and then. I'm actually just in the middle of trying to write a movie review for "The Talented Mr. Ripley", which I saw Tuesday night. I've never tried to write a movie review before, and it's harder than I thought! I should have a much easier time when it comes to the theatre reviews. :-) I quite enjoyed the movie, despite the fact that most people I've talked to about it didn't.
I've dyed my hair! It's now a reddish-brown colour, and I'm actually quite happy with it. I thought it might be a little too much at first, but it's grown on me. I also bought this package at a salon to get four visits there, including a haircut, back massage, manicure and hand massage, and highlights for my hair. We all need to be pampered now and then. :-) I haven't decided when I'll go for the first visit yet, but I do need to get my hair cut pretty soon, so I shouldn't put it off for too long.
Plans are well underway for my theatre excursions in February. Alison is coming up the first weekend so we can go see Sunset Boulevard together, and then I'll be seeing Bravo Broadway, Pimpernel and possibly something else at the end of the month in the States. I'm especially looking forward to the NJ/NY/CT trip, because I'll get to see lots of my friends that I haven't seen since last June! As well as Doug and Douglas, of course. :-)
My hands are really getting dry from the cold this year. It's unusual, because I've never had problems with that before...usually my skin is almost oily, and never needs lotion or anything! I don't even know what I should buy! :-)
I am obsessed with Second Cup's white hot chocolate.
I'm really quite upset about InTheatre going out of business...not only was it a good magazine to get pictures and stuff from, but I had hoped to write for it someday! I guess I'll have to focus my energies on Playbill now. :-)
Anyway, that movie review is not going to write itself, so I should probably go. Have a good weekend everyone!
