Quote of the day: "Seymour poses himself with one foot on the trash can, as the hero of a musical comedy should" -- Little Shop of Horrors script

I just got back from a shortened rehearsal, and I'm even more excited about the show now than I was before, if that's possible! :-) We did a general run-through of all the songs we've been working on, and they're so good! Karen, who's playing Audrey, was laughing at me because she turned around to look at me after the prologue and I guess I looked awfully impressed. :-) But all the leads are so good, and it's really going to be great!

Our director rocks too. :-) We all got a memo from her today...what she called an "informal memorandum of affection". :-) Here, let me type it out. I thought it was so sweet. It says:

How could I not love being part of this show?? :-)

Other happy news...only one more month till I see Douglas again! I'm trying to focus on the fact that it will be seeing him again, and not that it will be seeing him for the last time, but that's always in the back of my mind too. I am really interested with the thought of Ron Bohmer as Percy, but I will miss Douglas trememdously, and I still think Anthony should do the role. :-)

I am so much happier with Dawson's Creek now. :-) I was very upset last week, but last night's episode made it all okay. I just have to say that I LOVED the look on both Dawson and Joey's faces when they screamed YES! at each other during that big confrontation...that was great acting! But I was also highly relieved to find out that the "yes" was really a "no". I think I'm getting waaaaay too into this show. :-)

I have been soooooo busy the last few days, and I know it's only going to get worse...I have too much schoolwork to do! And next week we're done computer assisted reporting and have to move into analytical, which is a heck of a lot of work. But I'm going to try to do my project on something theatre-related, so hopefully that will make it seem a little less like work.

But speaking of schoolwork, perhaps I ought to stop putting that off and get started on it now. Bye for now!
