Picture of the day:

I'm still in the recovering stages from an awful case of the flu, which I haven't had in ages. I don't even remember when the last time I was really sick was. But the last two days have made up for it. :-) Meaning, of course, that I haven't accomplished anything, and I'm more behind on my work than usual. And I have a major journalism presentation on Monday that's falling apart around me as I speak. Ah yes. Life is good.
Anyway. Not everything is horrible. I had a very enjoyable time yesterday watching a PBS tape of a Bravo Broadway concert from last year. This was the first time I've "seen" Doug in a couple of years, and it was nice to hear him sing some of that stuff I've never heard him do before. I should be getting his solo CD very soon, and I'm looking forward to hearing that as well.
I did pretty much nothing all last weekend. I've just been too busy working on various stories/presentations/assignments/papers to try to have any semblence of a normal life. I think I'm going to a party this weekend though, so that will be a welcome change. It's a "retro '90s" party. I thought that was too cute. :-)
BarbaraAnne got an apartment in New York! This excites me greatly. :-) Not only because I'm happy for her, which I am, but it also means that I have a place to stay when I go down there...hopefully for good! I've been looking at job listings on Playbill Online, and there's lots of interesting-sounding stuff, but most of it is looking to start immediately, so I'll just have to keep watching.
You know, the more I think about it, the more I realize that I don't have any good news to share. But I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still around, in case I haven't answered your email in a month or two. I'll try to write a more cheery entry in here soon!
