Going to do after this: I'm not sure!

How typical is this? I have an afternoon off, so I come and spend it in the computer lab. :-) I'm actually trying to update my site a bit, and answer some of the more urgent emails. Topcities is not cooperating at all though - they're not letting me access any of my accounts. They had a server crash two days ago, and say there were able to save "almost" everything. Knowing my luck, it'd be my stuff they couldn't save.

Anyway, I had my convocation ceremony this morning. It was supposed to pour, so I was fully expecting the ceremony to be moved indoors, but they decided to chance it and have it outside, and we managed to make it through dry, although there were a few scary moments. It wasn't very exciting overall - the speech was not very inspiring, there were too many B.Com's graduating before me, and there was not a soul there who cared whether I was there or not. But still, it was nice to see everyone from my class, and they had free strawberries at the end, so I guess it was worth it. :-) I know, I'm just being bitter because my family wasn't there, but it really was quite depressing for me. There were several times when I wished I wasn't there. But I'm sure one day I'll be glad for going.

So I now have, sitting in front of me, a university degree. It's strange. I guess I thought it would feel more final than it does. But I still have all the same questions and worries and stresses I had before. Talking to everybody else didn't help at all either - they all seem to have so much more direction with their lives. Of course, they're probably thinking the same about me right now, but still. It's frustrating.

Anybody want to help me find a decently-priced basement apartment in Toronto?

Next weekend is Stratford, which I'm *very* excited about, mostly just because I really need to get out of Ottawa!!! I truly believe this is the longest I have ever spent in one place, since I haven't left Ottawa since February. Very unlike me. I also haven't seen any theatre since February. And, of course, I'm just thrilled about seeing Brent Carver in Fiddler! And Amy Walsh is in the cast too - she was my very first Meg! It's going to be great!

Anyway, I did actually have a serious reason for coming to the lab, which was to print off a resume and stuff for another potential job, so I ought to do that. Hope you all have a great weekend, and I should have something more exciting to say next time I update!
