I am soooooooooooooooooooo tired. Work is killing me, I swear. :-) I haven't been online for more than 20 minutes at a time in weeks. All of my sites are so neglected. And I haven't been able to accomplish much of anything else either. I've only gone through 5 of the German lessons. My cross-stitch is getting nowhere. My room is a mess. My arm is sore from typing all day. Can you develop keyboard elbow?
Now that I've got that out of the way...
This Thursday is my convocation. I don't know if I'm looking forward to it or not. I mean, it's not near as big a deal as high school graduation, and none of my family are going to be there or anything. I'm not even sure I want to go. But I know I'll probably regret it if I don't go, so I'll end up going.
The Tony's were last Sunday, of course. I enjoyed them quite a bit considering I haven't seen any of the shows that were nominated! I did pretty well with my musical picks, and really bad with my play ones. :-) The one category I *never* would have guessed was Best Score. I was sure they wouldn't give it to Aida. I was thrilled that Brian Stokes Mitchell and Boyd Gaines won, and really glad that Nathan Lane co-hosted. I thought he and Rosie were hilarious! Anyway, I really can't wait for next season...Jane Eyre and Seussical, what more could you want?!
I've just started looking into the various ways to move myself across the country in August, and I'm getting pretty discouraged. U-Haul would cost me $2000!! They also figure though that I would need 8 days to do the move. Obviously they've never driven with me. :-) I could do it in 3 or 4 days FOR SURE. But even renting a van is fairly expensive...the actual rental isn't bad, but then they charge per kilometre, and I'm planning on going between 3 and 4 thousand kilometres!! So I'm going to have to figure something else out.
Anyway, I wanna go buy some flowers before the grocery store closes. I bought a new vase at Ikea a couple of weeks ago, and haven't had any flowers for it yet. It's looking lonely. :-) Hope you all have a great weekend!
