Greetings from Times Square! :-) I forgot we were starting rehearsal a little later today, so I got downtown at 9 like I usually do, and I don't have to be over there till around 10, so I decided maybe I'd actually try to do an update or two! :-)

May I just say that I love New York?? What an incredible city. Of course, that's primarly because of the fact that a certain Mr. Douglas H. Sills lives here, but anyway. :-) I'm having a ball at the Seussical reading...everyone is so nice and *talented*. The music is really fantastic, and it's going to be amazing on stage. I mean, if you thought The Lion King was creative, that's nothing compared to what this is going to look like!!

I've been having a blast hanging around the Minskoff every other night or so...I didn't go yesterday, and I can't go tonight (no show), and I think I'm already going to be in a bit of withdrawal...yes, I'm getting spoiled. :-) Anyway, I think Douglas is liking his gifts, and is not too terrified of me yet, so that's all good. :-)

I saw Ragtime, and enjoyed it quite a bit. I do still have problems with the show overall, but I'm glad that I saw it. I don't know where I'd rank it in my list of overall favourite shows...that list is getting harder and harder to update. :-) But I will likely go see it again before I leave.

I can't wait for Melanie to come up!! We're gonna have a blast. I went for a walk yesterday and discovered a really nice little path down by the Hudson River, with a picnic area and everything, so I'll have to go back there sometime. And I think next weekend I'll take in some museums and stuff...it rained a lot of last week, but today is beautiful, so hopefully that will keep up.

Anyway, I'm gonna go next door to McDonald's and grab some breakfast and then head over to work. Until next time!
