Ah, what a wonderful city is New York.
I had a great time, as usual. I did eventually end up getting excited about it, once I got on the bus. :-) I've now seen all the shows nominated for Best Musical at the Tonys, and if it were up to me, I'd give it to Thoroughly Modern Millie - what a fun show! I loved it. Urinetown was really good too.
I went to a taping of a local talk show here last night, because the guest was Victor Garber. It was really neat to be in the same room with him! And he's really funny. It will be aired sometime next week - I'll let you know when I find out.
I got my pictures back from my last TV-show-stalking experience. :-) Here's Alexei at MuchMusic:
I also met up with a few people from Carleton in the past few days, which has been fun - it's hard to believe it's been two years now since I graduated! Time flies!

So I'm off for New York tomorrow! Looking forward to it, as always, though a little less excited than usual. Maybe just because the weather is so depressing! It really needs to stop raining, now.
I had planned to see The Importance of Being Earnest before catching the bus tomorrow night, but now that movie's release has been delayed, so it looks like I will be seeing About a Boy instead.
Note to the man on the streetcar who sat behind me last night and sang "Tears in Heaven" the entire trip: I did not pay $2.25 to be entertained by you. Thank you.
I really need to start looking for a new apartment soon. It feels like it's still a long way away, but I know it will get here a lot sooner than I'm expecting it.
There's an article on Playbill Online about Anthony possibly coming to New York in an Andrew Lippa production of The Little Princess. That could be fun!

Just a few quick notes...
Tiger is fine - the appointment went as well as can be expected, and he's in good health!
I have bought my plane tickets for London in July and Saskatoon in August! I also got my sister's wedding invitation in the mail yesterday. She tells me I still have to RSVP, even though she knows that I'm coming. :-)
I bought Mandarin-Chocolate ice cream on the weekend. It's awesome.
That's it for now!

Well, my luck with meeting people that I wanted to meet appears to have run out.
Karen and I went to the Jamie Oliver book signing at Indigo, and I really, really wanted her to be able to talk to him! Unfortunately, there was an absolutely insane crowd there, with very little order, and the line didn't move very quickly. We did hear his talk, and she got some pictures, but it's not quite the same as getting to speak to him, you know?
And then yesterday, Alexei Yagudin was at Much on Demand, and I figured my chances were pretty good of getting to talk to him, 'cause there's only like 25 people there, but I got stuck in the back, and these girls wouldn't let me through to catch him before he left. :-( So I'll just have to find another opportunity sometime! I did, however, meet some really nice girls there, who I'll hopefully talk to again, so it wasn't a total waste! :-)
AND! I just found out Joey McIntyre's doing a concert in Toronto this summer. Fun! I must go.
AND! Karen and Gill invited me to go to Aida with them in Buffalo! Yay! I've never seen Aida, nor the famous Jeremy Kushnier, so it should be a good time all around. :-)
I also bought a huge portrait of the Empress Elisabeth over the weekend. I have *no* idea what I'm going to do with it, but it was so pretty, and such a good deal, I couldn't resist.
Tony nominations are out - I'm not shocked by anything, and pretty much pleased with everything. Should be a good show!
Tiger and I are visiting the vet this evening. This is always a memorable experience. Wish me luck.
