Maps!

I got my Atlantis ticket in the mail yesterday! Which made me very excited, but then I read a review of Miss Saigon in St. Gallen, which made me sad that I wasn't seeing that. *sigh* I do think I made the right choice, but I still wish there was a way I could do both!

Hotels are now booked in Washington, DC and Charleston, South Carolina for my mom and I! And, since I have received some comments that my trip plans are a little confusing, I shall lay it out for you. :-)

Here is the US trip:

Highlights of the trip will be: Kentucky Caves, Memphis (Graceland, and maybe Melanie?), Florida (Disneyworld and more), Charleston, Washington and New York City. I've calculated the driving time at about 65 hours of highway driving. I guess it's a good thing I like to drive. :-) But actually, there is only one day where we will have more than 10 hours, so really, that's not too bad!

And here is a very rough look at the Europe trip:

I'll be the first to admit, this one is a little confusing. :-) I would prefer to fly into Vienna, but it looks like it might make more sense to begin in Munich. Then I'll take the train to Hamburg for a couple of days, and then take the train to Copenhagen. From there, I'm not sure if I will fly from Malmö to Frankfurt (which is what I've indicated here), or take the train directly back from Copenhagen to Munich. Anyway, after a day at Neuschwanstein, I will go to Salzburg for a day, to Budapest for 2 days, and Vienna for 2 days, before taking the train back to Munich for the flight home!

Alright, there's more to say, but it's nearly 7 a.m., and I should be leaving for work in about 15 minutes, not sitting here in my pajamas!
