Okay, all together now:
It's been a busy week, full of work and procrastination. :-) I had some good news last week...I got a $1000 bursary! It's a special bursary for 3rd or 4th year Journalism students who need financial assitance, and since I qualify (to say the least :-), I got it! Yay! And also, that same day, I found out I had enough credit from CDNow to order a free CD!! So I ordered the Stephen Schwartz CD, which looks very cool, and that should be arriving in the next week or so!
As for school, I had to do my arts story proposal, and it actually went pretty well! The prof thought it was an interesting idea, so now I'm just trying to find out if I can interview Frank Wildhorn. :-) Of course, he's in Florida right now with Linda, Carl and Douglas. *sigh* What I wouldn't give to be there too! I've heard lots of fun things about the concerts. I miss Douglas!
Dawson's Creek made me cry this week...how pathetic is that? I'm not even sure why, but that scene in the greenhouse where Jen told Henry she wouldn't go out with him...broke my heart! I think he's a sweetie. And he reminds me more than a little bit of Leonardo DiCaprio. Am I the only one who sees this?
I'm going to see a university production of Much Ado About Nothing tonight. Should be fun...they've taken the play and set it backstage at a production of Romeo and Juliet! Neat idea, and it'll be interesting to see how it works! I've got some friends who are in it, and they say that anyone who's involved in theatre or knows anything about theatre should get a big kick out of it, so I'm looking forward to seeing it!
Oh, and I *finally* got around to watching that TV version of "Sleepy Hollow" that was on TV a few weeks ago, with Brent Carver. Not the best movie I've ever seen, but definitely worth watching, if only because Brent was priceless. :-) I just love him! I especially enjoyed the scenes where he was singing in the church...*any* movie that has Brent Carver singing can't be all bad!
And now I better get myself into the right frame of mind to go to class...have a good weekend everyone!
