I need a computer. Please. Someone help me. I feel so totally out of it.

Anyway, not a whole lot has happened since I last wrote, to be honest. Work is not very exciting, and after work I usually just go home and read, or work on my cross-stitch and take my cat for a walk. I live like a 70-year-old. :-)

The weekends have been a bit more fun though. I got together with Karen and Gill again, for some shopping (we raided Old Ed's! :-), and then for Thanksgiving, Laurie came here to Toronto and then I went up to Holland Landing with her. While we were here, we tried some clubbing (which didn't work as planned) and went to see "Outrageous", which has changed a LOT since the first time I saw it. She liked it though. And then we had fun up at her place too. I really enjoyed going there, since I'd heard about it for four years at school. Her family is really nice too. And we watched some VeggieTales, and I finally got to see The Sixth Sense, which was really good, but I probably would have thought it was even better if my mother hadn't already told me the ending.

Then last weekend I went to Whitby to visit my friend Jen who I hadn't seen in more than two years. It was so great to see her! And, of course, she's got two kids now, so I got to be Aunty Stacy for the day, which was a little strange. :-) We went shopping too, I spent *way* too much money (but I got my musical Phantom Christmas ornament ... yay!), and watched Anna and the King. Just a *little* darker than the musical. :-)

And now this weekend I don't plan on doing much of anything. :-) I might go to a prayer group with my roommate tonight - she's been trying to get me to go ever since I moved here. So we'll see.

The latest saga in my life is that I'm without health care coverage until December 1. So if anything happens to me between now and then, I'm screwed. See, I got a letter from the Alberta government telling me I'd be cut off Nov. 30. So I went and signed up for my OHIP, but they told me there I couldn't get it until Dec. 1, since my Alberta coverage was still good till the 30th. But then, since I had told my mother I was going to sign up for OHIP, she called Alberta Health Care and had me taken off. So now I'm without coverage until my OHIP kicks in Dec. 1.

Oh, and when I went to get my Ontario drivers' license, they told me I've only had my license since August '98, when I've had it since Nov. '95. Don't you just love government?

There are a few exciting things on the horizon, thank God. Nov. 11 I'm going to New York, and Nov. 16 is the 'NSYNC concert! And I talked to my boss and got two extra days off at Christmas, so I'll be going home. Oh, and it's pretty much for sure that I'll be going to Essen, Germany to see Elisabeth next year. :-)

Anyway, I have a ton of updating and stuff I want to get started on my poor, neglected musical site, so I better end this here. Oh, and can anyone tell me why my counter on that site reset itself? Anyway, until sometime next month... :-)
