Stacy & Todd's Toronto apartment - 2007

Welcome to a virtual tour of our current apartment!

This is a one-bedroom apartment (our last one was 2 bedrooms), so things are a little cramped, but we've fit pretty much everything in.

When you enter from the hallway, this is what you'll see. The kitchen is straight ahead, and to the right, the living room is visible. Also to the right is the bathroom and the bedroom.

Let's take a right turn now.

Here is our bathroom. It is directly opposite the living room, so from the entrance, we made a right turn, and then another right turn.

In our last apartment, we also had two bathrooms, so this is the first time we've had to fit all of our stuff into one bathroom, but it's worked out pretty well.

Beside the bathroom (if you keep going straight instead of turning right again) is the bedroom. Again, it's a little crowded, and doesn't have the big walk-in closet that we had before. But, we'll just think of it as cozy. :-)

Tiger is in one of his usual spots in this picture. He has also claimed several spots in the living room as his own.

Not in this picture is the TV, which is right when you come in the door, facing the bed.

This is the view of the living room when you enter from the bathroom/bedroom hallway. The blue chair in the foreground is Tiger's chair, as is the white mat on the red couch. Behind the couch is our Christmas decorations, which we couldn't find room for anywhere else!

By the windows are our computers, which we'll take a close-up look at later.

Looking left against the wall when we come into the living room is our big bookcase. We couldn't fit all our books on here, but this is a lot of them!

The pictures on the wall at the top are all postcards that Todd picked up during his time in Africa.

This is looking back into the living room from the computers and dining room area. We have both our couches set up, so it's cozy in there too. :-) There's also our second TV, and some of Todd's plants.

Here are our computer desks, which are set up along the wall by the window, behind the living room area.

We currently have three computers - my desktop, and both of our laptops, but I'll be taking my laptop to London with me.

To the left of the computer area is our dining room. It doesn't usually have a keyboard on the table. :-) This is our usual table, but Todd's desk is also a dining room table, in case we have extra company over!

The door to the balcony is off the dining room, and the picture on the left is the view across the street. There are a lot of apartment buildings around us! You can also see the Bay and CIBC buildings on Bloor Street in the background.

The picture on the right is of the top of Maple Leaf Gardens, which is right beside our building!

Back inside the apartment, here is a view of the kitchen from the dining room. In the foreground is our dishwasher, my absolute favourite feature of this apartment. :-)

Here's the other side of the walk-through kitchen. We have a built-in microwave above the oven, which is another nice feature. I also really like the cabinets and counters. The kitchen is my favourite room in the apartment.

Notice the slow cooker on the counter? Let's take a peek inside...

Here's our Sunday dinner! We're making a roast, stuffed with bacon and garlic. Hope it turns out well!

And now we're back at the entrance. I hope you've enjoyed your visit! Stop by and see us again some time. :-)
