My last day in St. Petersburg was actually mostly spent out of the city. After Mass at the Catholic Church on Nevsky Prospekt, I met up with the group of skating fans - Sasha, Christie, Stas and Katia (my apologies for any misspellings), and we all took the train out to Pushkin, or what was formerly called Tsarskoe Selo. There we saw the Catherine Palace and a museum in Pushkin's old school. After returning to the city, I gathered all my things and took the overnight train to Moscow.
