Well, it's the first day of school for the rest of my family today...and does it ever feel like fall! It's chilly out, and the air is really brisk...and I'm sure that I'm going to be sweltering in heat when I get back to Ottawa. :-) I leave later tonight, so I won't have Net access for a few days...just in case anybody actually notices that I'm gone. ;-)
I went to Edmonton on the weekend with my family, which was fun. We stopped in at my sister's apartment, and visited with them a while, and went shopping at West Edmonton Mall, of course. :-) Aubrey and I did go on the Mindbender, as I'd planned, but they've raised the price of the tickets, so now it's $8.40 for a ride that lasts about a minute and a half. Isn't that ridiculous?
Other than that, I haven't been up to much of anything...just packing and getting ready to leave. In some ways, it seems the summer went by really fast, especially the time in New York. On the other hand, it seems like AGES ago that I was in school. I hope this year goes well for all of you, and for me. :-) I'll write more when I'm in Ottawa!
