In a way, it's someone else's story
I don't see myself as taking part at all

An ad for Marie Christine, just one of the MANY shows I want to see this year!

So here's the end of the month...one month done, seven to go. Isn't that a horrible way to look at your last year of school?? Unfortunately that's how I feel. I just dropped out of one of my classes, and was lucky enough to be able to pick up an equivalent, but now I'm three weeks behind in it. I hope things start getting better, because I don't think I can take seven more months of this!

On a much happier note, only one more week till Germany! By this time next week, I will be in the air somewhere between Detroit and Amsterdam. :-) I really can't wait to go. Today I'm most excited about the train ride to Hamburg. Don't ask me why. :-)

Several weeks ago I was whining about wanting to dye my hair...well, I finally went out and bought the dye (called "wheat"...a fairly light blonde), and did it this morning. And...nothing. It didn't take at all. :-( What a waste of money! I'm so disappointed. I'm sure if I tried a stronger one I could get it, but I don't want to use a permanent one. *sigh* I guess I'm stuck with my hair colour for now.

I had a really great weekend in Kingston...including watching Alison's band play at the "Bounders of America" convention. For those of you that don't know, a "Bounder" is a type of motorhome. However, anyone who knows me will know where my mind automatically went at the sight of the word "bounder". :-) It was just a little bizarre.

In my arts reporting class we're going to get to do an end-of-term assignment, on anything we want that's arts-related. I think I'm going to write about Jekyll and Hyde. See, the prof said to pick something we have a background in, and not only have I seen the show on Broadway 3 times, but I'm seeing it twice in Germany, and then again on the tour in Ottawa. So I'm thinking of comparing and contrasting the versions, and so on. Maybe I can even talk to Frank Wildhorn. :-) It should be interesting anyway!

Anyway, I need to get going if I want to have time to finish reading Kristal's wonderful Civil War fanfic and still get home before it starts pouring out. (I won't even get into the weather today.) So, Happy October everyone, and I'll try to write once more before I leave!
