Well, I'm back in Ottawa. Safe and sound, and I even have a roof over my head. How about that? :-) I have moved into a house, though I still don't have my furniture or the large majority of my possessions. Oh, and we're still not sure if I'll ever see my computer again. Other than that, things are going swell. :-)
I had fun in Winnipeg...got to visit with my friend Krista, who's my oldest friend...we've known each other since we were 2! I went to the legislative buildings just to say I've been, visited her at work, and then we went to see Mystery Men (which was quite good, actually!), and went back to her place to chat the night away.
I haven't done a whole lot since I got back here...spent some time with Laurie the past day (today we spent the whole morning getting our student loans...the joy of school!), and just ran into some friends from journalism, who have convinced me to try to switch from the newspaper workshop into TV. :-) We were a group in TV last year, and they were sure I was gonna go into it this year too, so had just assumed I'd be in their group...anyway, I'm not sure if I'll be able to switch (there may not be room), but I'll give it a shot. I know I'm just chickening out of doing the newspaper workshop, but so what?! :-)
Anyway, I do have a ton of other things to be doing, and Laurie wants to get going, though the fact that it's pouring outside isn't helping matters any. I've been dying to get my hair cut for three months, and I swear it's going to happen soon! :-)
