September 28:
Alright, so I changed the look again. I never really liked the last one very much. I don't think I like this one all that much either, but it's something different!
It's been season premiere week on TV. And the only one I've seen was Law & Order. I taped Will & Grace last night though, so I'll watch that tonight. And I must remember to watch Dawson's Creek tomorrow, 'cause it's the episode where they graduate, which I missed the first time around!
I am going to see Saturday Night Fever on Sunday. I am less than thrilled about it, but I will try to give it a chance. I just really hate the movie, so I'm not expecting too much from the show.
Karen and I went to see Glitter on Tuesday. It was pretty cheesy. :-) I am very excited for On the Line to come out (October 26 now). More cheese, I'm sure, but it should be enjoyable. I also really want to see Serendipity, which is supposed to be finally coming out one of these days.
That's all - I figured a completely superficial entry was needed after the last one. Till next time!
September 16:
I had wanted to post an entry in here before, but it is so hard to even put my thoughts in order right now, let alone form them into words. The terrorist attacks in the U.S. are so totally beyond the scope of my comprehension. I have spent days simply trying to accept that all of this has happened - that all those people have been killed, that the World Trade Centre towers are gone. I just want to know what could possibly make someone think that what they believe is so important that thousands of people have to die in order to prove their point. And now, of course, it's possible that thousands more will die in Afghanistan, or wherever they decide to bomb, to prove that such attacks will not be tolerated. It is all so senseless and so horrible.
September 4:
Well, hard as it is to believe, I am back at work. I can't believe how quickly the trip went, or how wonderful it was. Europe is everything I thought it would be, and more! But if you want to read more of my gushing, you can visit the Europe section - I'll try to actually speak about something else here. :-)
I was supposed to have started my new job today, but lots of people are still on an extra-long weekend, so it looks like it'll have to wait until tomorrow. Which is alright, because it gave me today to get everything caught up here for the person who is taking over my position. I have to change desks though, which is a big pain, because I have everything set up here the way I like it. *sigh*
I got the UK version of the *NSYNC Celebrity CD. It has two extra tracks. I'm pretty happy about it. :-)
My vegetables have done very well in my absence! (Other than my pumpkin, which my roommate made me kill - I'm very sad about that). But I have many cucumbers and tomatoes, and cauliflower, and my watermelon is getting bigger and bigger - I'm excited about eating it!
Hard to believe it's September at all actually - I have been living in Toronto for a year! That's pretty crazy!!
